We currently serve five jurisdictions in Yavapai County:
  • Yavapai County
  • City of Prescott
  • Town of Chino Valley
  • Town of Prescott Valley
  • Town of Dewey-Humboldt
All of the following services are provided with every processed permit:

Pickup - As soon as you decide you want to save time and avoid the red tape and call us to process your permit, we schedule a pickup of your plans for anywhere in the tri-city area. Pickup is done within 24 hours, however often can be done the same day of your call. Based on the type of permit, we will require any deposits required by the jurisdiction as well as 50% of our fee at this time.

Initial Review - After obtaining your completed plans, we perform a cursory review for general code compliance issues that each particular jurisdiction may have. Often, this simple review can mean the difference from a rejected set of plans to one that is approved with red-lined corrections. If, after this initial review, we determine the jurisdiction will likely require engineering we can offer some suggestions to revise the plans or proceed with the submittal at your request.

Application - After the Initial Review, and within 24 hours of picking up the plans, we will complete the permit application, prepare a site plan, complete the require paperwork for various departments and submit your application. We will get a general idea of the time the jurisdiction will have the plans and notify you of their lead time. Unfortunately, there is little we can do to expedite this portion of the permit process.

Response to Jurisdiction - If the plans are rejected for any reason, we will do our best to respond and revise the plans as required by the jurisdiction as quickly as we can. Often this will not require any work from you, however, if design changes are required, we will notify you of the issues the jurisdiction has raised and discuss a solution that you are satisfied with. We do our best to avoid changes which slow the process down, such as having the plans redrawn by your draftsman with the changes. However, at times, the jurisdiction requires new sets of plans be provided. If this is the case, we will take the plans to your draftsman and have them provide the required corrections. If the jurisdiction requires an engineered design for any portion, we can advise you of any methods that can eliminate the need for engineering or provide you with a list of qualified engineers.

Delivery - As soon as the jurisdiction notifies us the permit is approved, we will notify you of the final cost and arrange delivery of this amount as well as the balance of our fee. Once we obtain your permit, we will deliver it to you anywhere in the tri-city area or Dewey-Humboldt within 24 hours.
